

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla stated that Telangana Grameena Bank is playing a vital role in the state's inclusive economic development by extending banking services to every section of society. Releasing the bank's Annual Report for the financial year 2025–26 at Lok Bhavan, he praised the institution for its services to farmers, women, self-help groups, and rural communities, describing it as one of India's best Regional Rural Banks.
According to the Annual Report, Telangana Grameena Bank recorded an operating profit of ₹1,902.23 crore and a net profit of ₹1,282.84 crore during FY 2025–26. As of March 31, 2026, the bank's total business stood at ₹81,152.50 crore. With a Capital Adequacy Ratio (CRAR) of 26.24%, zero Net NPA, and 939 branches serving over 90 lakh customers, the bank continues to strengthen rural banking and financial inclusion across Telangana.
