

Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy said the government is preparing grand plans to conduct the Godavari Pushkaralu in a spiritually magnificent manner. Speaking after inaugurating temple development works worth ₹29 crore at Dwaraka Tirumala in Eluru district, he said the Pushkaralu will be held from June 26 to July 7, 2027. He also announced that 43 temples located in the Godavari river basin region will be developed at a cost of ₹54.71 crore.
The minister stated that the coalition government is working to restore the glory of thousands of temples across the state. Financial assistance is being provided annually to priests for temple rituals and offerings. He also announced the construction of bhajana mandirams in villages and colonies without temples. In addition, students studying Vedas will receive monthly stipends, and road facilities for giripradakshina are being developed at Ramatheertham and Srikalahasti.
