The state government has launched the second phase of deregulation measures to improve the business-friendly environment and reduce delays in granting industrial approvals, Minister Kondapalli Srinivas announced. The initiative focuses on simplifying regulations and removing unnecessary controls to make it easier to establish and operate industrial units. The government has already issued orders to reduce the number of No Objection Certificates (NOCs), licences and other approvals required for setting up and running industrial units to fewer than 10. The measures are expected to streamline approval procedures and support industrial growth in the state.
Meanwhile, the government has launched the ‘Samaveshi Aajeevika Yojana’ to identify and economically empower the poorest families in the state. Minister Kondapalli Srinivas said the scheme would be implemented under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Rural Livelihoods Mission. Around 10,000 extremely poor families will be selected through 650 village organisations across 26 mandals with significant Yanadi and Chenchu populations. With the assistance of livelihood facilitators, the beneficiaries will receive support to establish income-generating activities, including natural farming, with bank loans arranged for eligible families. The selection process will begin on the 21st of this month, and the list of selected families will be announced on November 16.
