Government Responds to Godavari Tragedy

Polavaram district collector K. Dinesh Kumar has announced immediate financial assistance of ₹25,000 each to the families affected by the Godavari river accident in Rampachodavaram. The collector stated that steps are being taken to ensure that the government compensation reaches the victim families at the earliest.

The collector assured that the government will extend all possible support to the affected families. He also urged people to remain cautious during the monsoon season and avoid entering the Godavari river for fishing when water levels are high. People were advised to strictly follow weather alerts and instructions issued by officials.
