The Tamil Nadu government, led by Chief Minister Vijay, has announced a 2% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees and teachers, bringing relief to thousands of workers. With this revision, the DA has been increased from 58% to 60%, offering a boost to their overall earnings. The decision reflects the government’s effort to support its workforce amid rising living costs.
According to official orders, the revised DA will come into effect from January 1 of this year. The move is expected to benefit a large number of employees and teaching staff across the state. The announcement has been welcomed by government workers, who see it as a positive step towards improving their financial stability.
