TGSRTC is preparing to provide round-the-clock bus services in Hyderabad to improve late-night public transport. From September 1, city buses will operate from 10 pm to 5 am, instead of the existing services that generally run until 11 pm or midnight. The initiative will initially be launched as a pilot project on six major routes.
Night services will operate between Secunderabad–Kondapur, Bachupally–Wave Rock, Secunderabad–Hayathnagar, Koti–Patancheru, Koti–HITEC City and Secunderabad–Patancheru. The initiative is expected to ease the difficulties faced by passengers travelling at night. If the pilot project proves successful, TGSRTC plans to extend night bus services to more parts of Hyderabad.
