Godavari Search Enters Third Day in Pithapuram AE Family Case

Police have stepped up their investigation into the case involving Pithapuram Panchayat Raj Assistant Engineer Nookaraju and his family after they reportedly entered the Godavari near Rajamahendravaram. Investigators are reconstructing the family’s movements, including the places they visited and people they met before the incident. Search operations for Nookaraju’s wife Meena and daughter Soujanya are continuing in the river, with police and rescue teams involved.

Police recovered mobile phones and other belongings from the car used by the family. The devices are being examined for possible evidence, including deleted WhatsApp communications. Investigators are also collecting call-detail records linked to Sadiq Khan and checking locations associated with him. According to reports, Khan has been named in allegations concerning harassment of Nookaraju’s family, and cases have been registered against him at police stations in the region. The investigation is continuing to establish the circumstances that led to the incident.
