Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to make Godavari Pushkaralu 2027 a grand celebration reflecting the state's cultural, historical, and spiritual heritage. During a review meeting in Amaravati, he stressed the importance of promoting spiritual tourism, improving infrastructure, and ensuring seamless coordination among various departments. He also highlighted that the completion of the Polavaram Project before the Pushkaralu would further enhance tourism opportunities in the region.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to focus on traffic management, railway connectivity, and visitor facilities to ensure a smooth experience for devotees. He suggested setting up tent cities and homestays similar to those seen during the Kumbh Mela and urged authorities to seek financial assistance from the central government. Chandrababu emphasized that the development works undertaken for Pushkaralu should provide long-term benefits to the Godavari region and contribute to the growth of Rajamahendravaram as a major city.
