Amara Raja Group Chairman and former MP Galla Jayadev reaffirmed the company’s deep-rooted connection with Andhra Pradesh, stating that the organisation’s journey began in the state and remains very special. Responding to Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh’s remarks on the company’s expansion into Telangana, Jayadev emphasised that Amara Raja’s commitment to Andhra Pradesh will never weaken and expressed confidence that this bond will grow stronger in the coming years.
He thanked Lokesh for his support and highlighted the importance of working together to create new opportunities and build a brighter future. Earlier, Lokesh had expressed concern over the company expanding to another state, noting that Amara Raja, founded in Chittoor, had brought global recognition to Andhra Pradesh but faced challenges during the previous administration. He assured that the state remains open and welcoming for the company’s growth and future investments.
