Full-fledged surgical services are expected to commence soon at Dr MCR TIMS Hospital in Hyderabad, marking a significant step towards expanding affordable super-speciality healthcare in the city. The hospital is currently catering to around 600 outpatients every day. According to officials, surgical procedures will begin once the ICU facilities, operation theatres and sterilisation of medical equipment are fully prepared and cleared for use.
Authorities have also decided to implement affordable tariffs and service rules on the lines of NIMS. In addition, approval has been given for the construction of a multi-level parking facility and hostels for postgraduate students. The measures are expected to strengthen the hospital’s infrastructure and make advanced medical treatment more accessible to the general public at affordable rates.
