Four of Bengaluru Family Killed in Tragic Accident on Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway

A tragic road accident on the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway in Karnataka’s Kolar district claimed the lives of four members of a Bengaluru family. The accident occurred near Dodda Kari in KGF taluk when the Toyota car reportedly lost control, hit the median and overturned. The victims were identified as Sharadamma (70), Deekshita (25), Devendra Kumar (41) and Jishnu (13), all residents of Vidyaranyapura in Bengaluru. The family was returning to Bengaluru after visiting the Tirupati temple when the accident occurred.

Three other passengers travelling in the car — Vikas, Neethu and Advika — sustained injuries in the accident. They were shifted to the government hospital in Bangarpet for treatment. The incident falls under the jurisdiction of Bethamangala Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
