Indian security forces detained a former US soldier, identified as Brown, near the India-Nepal border after he allegedly attempted to enter Nepal without valid travel documents. Following his detention, officials initiated an investigation to verify his identity, travel history, and the purpose behind his cross-border movement.
Preliminary information indicates that Brown entered India through a sea route in 2025 and subsequently travelled to Goa, Bengaluru, and Uttar Pradesh before arriving near the India-Nepal border. Security agencies are examining his movements and questioning him as part of the ongoing investigation.
