Former JPSC Chief Arrested

Former Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) chairman L. Khiangte has been arrested by the state CID officials amid large scale student protests and a call for an Assembly gherao. The authorities questioned him about several key issues related to the JPSC 14th Combined Civil Services Examination.

CID officials reportedly questioned Khiangte over the selection of TDPL, a blacklisted company, to conduct the JPSC 14th examination. He was also questioned about several other crucial aspects of the case as part of the ongoing investigation.
