Popular folk dancer Madhuri Rathod reportedly attempted suicide at her residence in Hyderabad. Family members noticed her in time and rescued her after breaking open the room door. She was subsequently provided with medical assistance, and further details regarding her condition are awaited.

Madhuri reportedly expressed distress over the police action in a complaint involving a person named Eshwar Sai. She alleged that despite her complaint, no effective action had been taken and that he had not been arrested.
