

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu participated in the Swachh Andhra-Swarna Andhra programme at Alamanda Koduru in Madugula constituency, Anakapalli district. Addressing the public meeting, he said the government’s primary focus was on welfare and development. He highlighted road development, branding of DWCRA products and measures aimed at strengthening people’s livelihoods.
Naidu also spoke about land rights, recruitment, sports and alleged irregularities under the previous government. He said steps were being taken to issue pattadar passbooks under the ‘Mee Bhoomi–Mee Hakku’ initiative and assured that corruption in recruitment would not be allowed.
The Chief Minister outlined several development plans for North Andhra, including an industrial township spread across 10,000 acres and a skill centre for local youth. He said water would be supplied to Anakapalli through the Polavaram Left Canal soon and announced plans to complete the Raivada project and undertake works on the NTR Reservoir.
