Five Family Members Hospitalised After Consuming Muskmelon!

A tragic incident was reported from Kendrapara district in Odisha, where five members of a family fell seriously ill allegedly after consuming muskmelon. According to police and family members, the victims belonged to Kupuni village under Pattamundai block. Soon after eating the fruit, all five developed severe health complications and were initially admitted to Kendrapara hospital before being shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for advanced treatment.

Among the victims, a 13-year-old boy identified as Swadhin Senapati died while undergoing treatment. Family member Malaya Senapati alleged that the illness occurred after consuming the muskmelon. However, police stated that the exact cause behind the incident is yet to be confirmed and an investigation is currently underway.
