

The first COVID-19 case has been reported in Rajamahendravaram, with a 21-year-old youth testing positive for the virus. The patient has been admitted to the Government General Hospital in Rajamahendravaram and is currently undergoing treatment. Health authorities are monitoring his condition and taking necessary precautionary measures to prevent further transmission.
With the latest case, the total number of COVID-19 infections reported in Andhra Pradesh has risen to 16. According to official figures, five patients are receiving treatment in various hospitals, while four are under home isolation. Three patients have recovered from the infection, and four COVID-related deaths have been reported in the state so far. Health officials have urged the public to remain vigilant and follow recommended preventive measures.
