Films, Business, Bigg Boss…What Did Kumari Aunty Reveal?

Kumari Aunty, who became popular on social media with her viral dialogue, “Your total is ₹1,000, two extra livers,” has opened up about her journey, earnings, acting career and Bigg Boss opportunity in a recent interview. She said she used to stitch clothes and work in the fields before moving to Hyderabad with her husband in 2011, when they started their food business. According to her, her hotel gained wider recognition after the dialogue went viral, with YouTube also helping more people discover the eatery. She added that celebrities had been visiting the hotel even before she became widely popular, and film crews in the area would often take food from her outlet.

Speaking about her current business, Kumari Aunty said that before gaining fame, the hotel would receive up to around 1,500 customers a day, while the current footfall is about 1,000. She claimed that the outlet records around ₹20,000 in daily counter sales, while expenses also account for a significant portion of the earnings. On her acting career, she said she is currently working in seven films, mostly in small roles. She also revealed that she received a call from Bigg Boss last year but did not participate. According to her, she would not turn down the opportunity if she receives a chance again.
