The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has added Punjab-based gangster Nitish Kaushal to its Most Wanted list for his alleged involvement in a series of serious crimes across the United States. According to the FBI, Kaushal is accused of participating in murders, kidnappings, drug trafficking, human trafficking, and several violent criminal activities. Investigators believe he is associated with the criminal network led by Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, which has been linked to organized crime operations in the US, Canada, and Europe.
The US District Court for the Central District of California issued an arrest warrant against Kaushal on June 25. The action is part of the FBI's ongoing Operation Hard Ball, a coordinated crackdown targeting the Bhagwanpuria gang and its international criminal network. Authorities continue efforts to trace and apprehend members involved in transnational organized crime.
