Fans Protest for ‘Irumudi’ Movie

The screening of Irumudi was reportedly stopped at Venkataramana Theatre in Makthal on Wednesday. Several people from nearby villages who arrived to watch the film were disappointed to find that it was no longer being screened. They gathered in front of the theatre and staged a protest, demanding that the film be brought back to the screen.

The previous day too, a large number of people reportedly visited the theatre, setting aside their personal work, but could not get tickets. Some viewers said they were even willing to sit on the floor if necessary to watch the film. The audience has appealed to the theatre management to resume screenings and provide them another opportunity to watch Irumudi.
