A suspected cross-border arms-smuggling incident has triggered concern in Rajasthan’s Anupgarh district. Weapons are believed to have been transported using a Pakistani drone in the Rawlamandi area, according to initial reports. The Border Security Force (BSF) and the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) conducted a joint operation to investigate the suspected smuggling activity. The operation reportedly uncovered evidence linked to the movement of illegal weapons and explosives.
Officials reportedly recovered a substantial quantity of weapons and RDX, a powerful explosive, packed in three separate bundles. Two people have reportedly been arrested in connection with the case. Investigators are examining how the suspected consignment crossed the border and whether others were involved in the operation. Further details are awaited from the authorities as the investigation continues.
