The land survey conducted in Erravalli of Siddipet district has been completed, and the detailed report has been submitted to District Collector Haimavathi. The Collector is expected to forward the report to the Telangana government. The survey was carried out in Survey No. 325, covering around 388 acres, after officials fixed the outer boundaries and issued notices to farmers recorded as being in possession of the land. Officials subsequently conducted field-level surveys to verify individual boundaries and land details.
The survey gained attention following Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's announcement regarding alleged encroachment of government land in Erravalli. Meanwhile, farmers from Shivar Venkatapur have raised objections, claiming that lands traditionally cultivated by them were included in Erravalli's Survey No. 325. They have approached officials and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy seeking a separate survey and verification of old passbooks, village maps and revenue records. The findings in the official report are now being closely watched, particularly by farmers awaiting clarity over the disputed land records.
