An IndiGo flight operating from Hyderabad to Srinagar made an emergency diversion to Chandigarh due to landing difficulties in Srinagar. The aircraft was carrying 231 passengers, including several Amarnath pilgrims from Hyderabad. The unexpected diversion caused inconvenience and uncertainty among passengers on board.
Passengers reportedly remained inside the aircraft for several hours without clear communication from the airline. Many urged authorities to arrange special helicopter services to transport them back to Hyderabad. The lack of timely updates from IndiGo has drawn criticism, with passengers expressing frustration over the handling of the situation.
