TTD Chief Vigilance and Security Officer Murali Krishna said elaborate security arrangements are being made to ensure that devotees visiting Tirumala for the Srivari Brahmotsavams have a smooth and hassle-free darshan and can comfortably witness the Vahana Sevas. He held a review meeting with Tirupati District SP Subbarayudu and other officials on security measures to be implemented across the four Mada Streets and other key areas. Based on previous experiences, TTD vigilance and police personnel will work in coordination to strengthen security, queue management and entry and exit arrangements.
Special security and barricading arrangements will be made on the Dwajarohanam day in view of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s visit. With a large turnout expected for Garuda Seva, dedicated parking and traffic management plans will be implemented in Tirumala and Tirupati. Multilingual signboards will also be installed at key junctions to guide devotees. SP Subbarayudu said coordinated arrangements involving TTD vigilance, police, fire, forest, intelligence, APSRTC and railway departments will be put in place for effective security and traffic management.
