Ekanapuram Residents Back Parandur Airport Hold

Residents of Ekanapuram village have reportedly passed a unanimous resolution at a Gram Sabha meeting thanking the Tamil Nadu government for putting the proposed Parandur airport project on hold. The development comes amid sustained opposition from residents of Ekanapuram and surrounding areas to the airport project.

The Gram Sabha also unanimously approved a resolution to name a road in Ekanapuram “Thalapathy Vijay Road.” The latest resolutions come as villagers continue to oppose the proposed airport, citing concerns over the project and its impact on the local area.
