Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai for a detailed discussion on wildlife conservation. The leaders focused on tiger conservation in the Eastern Ghats, improving genetic diversity, and the transfer of two female tigers from Maharashtra to Andhra Pradesh.
Pawan Kalyan stated that the declining female tiger population in the Eastern Ghats had led to inbreeding concerns, and the support from Maharashtra would help restore balance. He expressed gratitude for the cooperation, calling it a major milestone in wildlife conservation and a step toward long-term ecological stability.
