Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged that certain forces were attempting to divide the country and urged citizens to remain united against them. Addressing the Dussehra celebrations in East Delhi, he described the festival as a symbol of the victory of good over evil. Modi said that no matter how powerful an enemy might be, truth and humanity would ultimately prevail. He added that the spirit of Dussehra was deeply rooted in Indian philosophical thought and that the festival brought people across the country together.
Modi described Ram Rajya as an ideal model of good governance and said India’s goal of becoming a developed nation, or Viksit Bharat, should draw inspiration from Lord Rama’s ideals. He emphasized that Ram Rajya stood for equality, justice and equal opportunities for all, without discrimination. According to the Prime Minister, leadership is not merely about exercising power but about ensuring public welfare. He also called on institutions and political parties to unite in the national interest and confront common challenges together. Even during major crises, he urged people to recognize their own capabilities, turn determination into strength and work hard to find solutions rather than depend entirely on others.
