Drugs Worth ₹2.58 Lakh Seized.. Two Arrested

Excise STF-B officials arrested two persons for allegedly selling drugs to youngsters from influential families and earning huge profits through illegal narcotics trade. Acting on a tip-off, the STF-B team, along with Sub-Inspectors Balaraju and Sandhya, conducted inspections on the Suraram-Kompally High Tension Road and intercepted an Innova car suspected of transporting drugs.

During the vehicle inspection, officials seized 3.24 grams of MDMA from accused Praveen, which was reportedly brought from Bengaluru. Another accused, Elizer alias Sunny, was found in possession of 36.90 grams of OG Kush and 7.73 grams of Charas. The police also seized the Toyota Innova car used for transportation. Officials estimated the value of the seized drugs at ₹2.58 lakh. The accused and the seized material were handed over to the Quthbullapur Excise Station for further investigation.
