

A drug trafficking case has created a stir in Tirupati district, with Renigunta Police arresting three individuals, including a TTD employee, in connection with the case. Among those arrested is Rahul Yadav, who works as a Junior Assistant at the Govindaraja Swamy Temple Archaka Bhavan. Police seized 63 grams of methamphetamine, estimated to be worth around ₹3 lakh, during the operation.
Investigators suspect that the accused were supplying drugs to engineering college students. The arrest of a TTD employee and an engineering student has raised concerns and prompted a detailed investigation into the alleged network. Police are continuing to identify others involved in drug supply and consumption, while conducting bio-check tests on suspected users as part of the ongoing probe.
