

The Congress disciplinary committee has submitted a key report to Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Mahesh Kumar Goud regarding the issues involving Minister Konda Surekha and Planning Commission Vice Chairman Chinna Reddy. Committee chairman Mallu Ravi and other members handed over the report to the PCC chief. According to Mallu Ravi, the panel recommended strict action against those who crossed the party line. The report has also reportedly recommended removing Konda Surekha from the ministerial post and Chinna Reddy from the post of Planning Commission Vice Chairman.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Mallu Ravi said the committee examined the explanations given by both Konda Surekha and Chinna Reddy. Their statements made in the media were also reviewed before preparing the detailed report. He said the PCC chief would forward the report to the All India Congress Committee for further action. Mallu Ravi reiterated that the disciplinary panel had sought stringent action against those who violated the party line.
