Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan commenced his annual spiritual deeksha on Wednesday with special prayers at the Sri Panakala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Mangalagiri, Guntur district. As part of the traditional ritual observed every year, he offered silk garments to the presiding deity and participated in special Ashtottara archana before formally taking the deeksha. Temple Executive Officer Sunil Kumar and priests welcomed the Deputy Chief Minister at the Rajagopuram.
Pawan Kalyan observes this spiritual vow for four months every year as part of his commitment to practising the spiritual teachings and mantra initiation received from his guru. Several public representatives and dignitaries, including APMSIDC Chairman Chillapalli Srinivasa Rao, were present during the ceremony. The annual deeksha reflects the Deputy Chief Minister's continued adherence to his spiritual beliefs and traditions.
