Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, addressing the Telangana Members of Parliament meeting at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan alongside Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, said the State Government's sole objective is to safeguard Telangana's interests without political considerations. He stated that the government is determined to secure the state's rightful share of Central funds, projects, and institutions, while ensuring effective coordination between MPs and government departments. He directed officials to compile all pending issues and correspondence with the Centre to help MPs raise them effectively during Parliament sessions.
Bhatti Vikramarka urged MPs to collectively pursue key demands, including the establishment of IIM and IIT in Telangana, speedy approvals for irrigation projects, expansion of the railway network, and attracting a semiconductor manufacturing project to Hyderabad. He also called for sustained efforts to ensure the Sathupalli and Koyagudem coal blocks are allocated to Singareni without auction. Stressing the spirit of cooperative federalism, he said the State Government is prepared to meet the Centre as many times as necessary to secure Telangana's development and welfare.
