Global consulting giant Deloitte is preparing to set up a satellite office in Visakhapatnam as part of its strategy to expand operations in Tier-2 cities. The company CEO Romal Shetty recently emphasized the focus on expanding services beyond metro cities. As part of this plan, Deloitte is moving towards starting operations at Rushikonda IT Hills in Visakhapatnam.

The company has also reportedly sent emails to its employees asking for interest in relocation to cities like Visakhapatnam, Mangaluru, and GIFT City. Deloitte is expected to offer services including IT consulting, technology, global finance, and BPO operations. With major IT firms like TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys already present, Deloitte’s entry is seen as a positive development for the region.
