Delhi Woman Alleges AI-Morphed Image Used at CJP Protest

A 25 year old woman has alleged that her photograph was digitally manipulated using artificial intelligence and displayed alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image during a Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. According to reports, she alleged that her photograph was used without her consent and that the manipulated image was displayed on banners and posters.

Delhi Police has registered an FIR at the Cyber Police Station in New Delhi under relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The woman has named CJP functionaries Saurav Das, Abhijeet Dipke, Ashutosh Ranka and Ratna Singh in her complaint, alleging their involvement in the use and circulation of the image. The allegations are subject to investigation and should not be treated as established facts.
