Delhi Protest Intensifies Amid Tight Security

The protest organised by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar entered another phase as party leaders reiterated that demonstrations would continue until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan steps down. The agitation has attracted significant public attention, prompting authorities to closely monitor the situation throughout the day.

To maintain law and order, Delhi Police deployed additional personnel at key locations across the city. As a precautionary measure, 17 metro stations in Central Delhi were temporarily shut down to control crowd movement and minimise security risks. Officials continue to monitor developments while commuters have been advised to use alternate travel routes.
