Delhi Police's Special Cell foiled a major terror conspiracy and arrested four suspects, including three from Punjab and one from Delhi. During the investigation, police found that the accused had allegedly conducted reconnaissance near police stations and places of worship in Delhi. Authorities recovered two foreign made pistols, nine live cartridges, and five mobile phones from the accused.
Investigators revealed that the conspiracy was allegedly directed by ISI handler Shehzad Bhatti. Police also suspect that weapons and narcotics were being smuggled into India using drones. The accused are currently in judicial custody, while the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been granted an additional 15 days to conduct a comprehensive probe into all aspects of the case.
