Delhi Government Orders Strict Action Against Illegal Constructions

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has directed the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to launch strict action against illegal and unauthorised constructions across the national capital. The Chief Minister instructed officials to use bulldozers wherever necessary to remove structures that violate building regulations. Action is expected to be taken in several areas of Delhi as part of the crackdown.

Gupta also directed officials to conduct thorough inspections of all PG hostels in Delhi and identify any unauthorised construction or violations. She stressed the need to carefully examine building records and verify whether structures comply with the applicable regulations. Officials have been asked to take appropriate action wherever violations are found.
