Delhi and Western Uttar Pradesh on Rain Alert, Heavy Showers Expected

The India Meteorological Department has forecast active weather conditions across Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. For September 26, Delhi is expected to experience moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds reaching around 40–50 kmph at times. The IMD has also issued a heavy-rain warning for the Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi region.

In Uttar Pradesh, the weather department has warned of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in several areas, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. Lucknow and Kanpur are among the cities expected to experience wet conditions. The IMD's local forecasts indicate thunderstorms with gusty winds of 40–50 kmph in both cities, while authorities have advised people to remain cautious during severe weather.
