Inspiring everyone with her determination and resilience, Manjushri Venkata Mahalakshmi from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district overcame severe personal and financial hardships to excel in the SSC examinations. Born into a poor family in Katharlanka village of P. Gannavaram mandal, Manjushri, her younger sister, and her father are all differently-abled. The family survives on a modest disability pension and a small roadside shop run from their home. While preparing for her Class 10 board exams at Zilla Parishad High School in R. Enugupalli, tragedy struck when her mother suffered a brain stroke. Though she recovered with the support of donors, she later developed kidney-related complications and continues treatment at a private hospital in Amalapuram.
Despite the emotional and financial burden, Manjushri balanced household responsibilities while continuing her studies with unwavering focus. Her hard work paid off as she secured an impressive 567 marks out of 600 in the recently announced SSC results. Manjushri now dreams of studying at an IIT and building a bright future for her family. With remarkable confidence, she says she can achieve her goal if generous donors and well-wishers come forward to support her education. Her story stands as a powerful example of courage, perseverance, and the transformative power of education.
