Deer Meat Seized in Malakpet

Three men were arrested after allegedly being found in possession of deer meat during vehicle checks in Makthal. The accused have been identified as Syed Hussain, Syed Omar and Mohammed Hameed. Officials seized a rifle, eight bullets, 12 empty cartridges, two night-vision telescopes, a battery and four mobile phones from the Scorpio SUV in which they were travelling, along with the suspected deer meat.

According to the investigation, the men had allegedly travelled to a forest area in Karnataka’s Kalaburagi district to hunt deer. Investigators reportedly found that the trio had fired 12 rounds during the incident. The Scorpio SUV, firearm, ammunition and other equipment were seized. Police are continuing their investigation into the case.
