Deadly Plane Crash in Alaska...Four Killed

A deadly plane crash occurred in Alaska after a Piper PA-24 aircraft travelling from Anchorage to Seldovia crashed into the waters of Seldovia Slough. The aircraft had departed from Merrill Field Airport in Anchorage on Wednesday and went down before reaching Seldovia Airport. All four people on board died in the accident. The plane was completely submerged and was found at a depth of around 15 feet, according to National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) officials.

Rescue teams were initially unable to reach the aircraft because of the water level and tidal conditions. Officials later managed to reach the site and recover the bodies of all four victims. Authorities said all those on board were adults. The bodies were taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for examination. The exact cause of the crash remains unknown, and an investigation is underway.
