

A major fire accident occurred on Today morning at the Lemon Green Restaurant in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar area. The fire reportedly started in the basement and spread rapidly throughout the building, trapping several people inside. Fire and rescue teams rushed to the scene immediately and launched large-scale rescue operations. According to preliminary reports, at least 20 people lost their lives in the incident, while several others suffered injuries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the tragedy and announced financial assistance for the victims. An ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh will be provided to the families of the deceased, while the injured will receive ₹50,000 each. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire, while rescue and relief operations continue.
