Cyclonic System Intensifies Sea Conditions Near Uppada in Kakinada

Sea conditions turned rough near Uppada in Kakinada district under the influence of the depression, with strong waves lashing the coast amid powerful winds and heavy rainfall. The adverse weather has affected normal life in parts of the Pithapuram Assembly constituency, with several trees reportedly uprooted due to strong winds.

Floodwaters have surged into the Suddhagadda hill stream, while around two feet of water has accumulated on the Gollaprolu–Thatiparthi road. The flooding has caused difficulties for commuters and farmers in the area. Authorities and local residents are closely monitoring the situation as the weather system continues to affect the region.
