CS Sanjay Jaju Calls for Comprehensive Eco-Tourism Plan in Telangana

Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju has directed officials to prepare a comprehensive action plan for the development of eco-tourism across the state. During a high-level review meeting held at the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat, he reviewed initiatives related to eco-tourism, tiger conservation, and the development of tiger reserves. He also instructed officials to effectively utilize Central Government funds to strengthen the state's tourism sector.

Sanjay Jaju emphasized the need to develop eco-tourism in Kinnerasani, Amrabad Tiger Reserve, Kawal Tiger Reserve, the Nallamala forest region, and destinations such as Ananthagiri, Vikarabad, and Future City. He stressed that infrastructure should be developed through joint efforts of the Forest Development Corporation and Tourism Development Corporation while maintaining ecological balance and creating employment opportunities for local youth through public-private partnerships.
