A delegation of CPM leaders led by state secretary John Wesley met Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Secretariat. During the meeting, the Chief Minister clarified that the state government is procuring every grain produced by farmers. He criticized the central government for only announcing support prices without adequately participating in procurement. The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the Musi River revival project, assuring that displaced families would be provided housing within the local area. He stated that a Rs 500 bonus is being given for fine rice varieties and that maize is being procured at the minimum support price. Highlighting education reforms, he said the government is focused on strengthening public education by providing quality facilities, including breakfast and meals for students, and is taking steps to establish Telangana Public Schools.
