Two more COVID-19 cases have been reported at the Government General Hospital (GGH) in Rajamahendravaram. Health officials said two people tested positive after RT-PCR tests were conducted on eight individuals. A 25-year-old woman from Gopalapuram, who recently delivered a baby at the hospital, tested positive after experiencing persistent fever and cold. She has been admitted to a dedicated isolation ward for treatment.
Another patient, a 54-year-old woman from Konthamuru in Rajamahendravaram Rural, tested positive after visiting the hospital with a persistent cough. As she showed no severe symptoms, doctors advised her to remain in home isolation. Health officials urged the public to wear masks, maintain hand hygiene, avoid crowded places, and follow physical distancing to reduce the risk of infection.
