COVID Alert at Mangalagiri AIIMS

Health authorities have stepped up precautionary measures at AIIMS Mangalagiri following the arrival of a patient with COVID-19 symptoms. After providing medical treatment, doctors advised the patient to remain in home isolation while continuing appropriate monitoring. The development comes amid a gradual rise in fever-related cases, prompting hospitals to strengthen their preparedness.

In response to the situation, AIIMS Mangalagiri has established a dedicated fever ward to manage suspected COVID-19 and other viral fever cases efficiently. Meanwhile, doctors at Guntur Government General Hospital (GGH) have also been placed on alert and are closely monitoring patients presenting with fever and respiratory symptoms. Health officials have urged the public to remain cautious and seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
