Actor Allu Arjun has been issued summons by the Nampally Court in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede incident. The court directed him to appear in person for the hearing scheduled on the 22nd of this month. He has been named as A11 in the case, while theatre management and staff are listed as A1 to A10.
The stampede occurred during a Pushpa-2 benefit show, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to another. So far, summons have been issued to 19 individuals. The court rejected Allu Arjun’s plea seeking virtual appearance. Meanwhile, a civil court has also imposed a gag order restricting speculative media reporting on the case.
