Corporation Chairpersons’ Tenure to End Tomorrow

The tenure of 37 state-level corporation and federation chairpersons in Telangana is set to end on July 8. They were appointed on July 7, 2024, for a two-year term. Several chairpersons are reportedly seeking renewal of their positions, but discussions within political circles suggest that the government may not continue the majority of the existing appointments.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is said to have reviewed performance reports of the outgoing chairpersons. Sources indicate that only a limited number of them may qualify for renewal. There are also speculations that some leaders could be assigned alternative responsibilities instead of being reappointed to the same posts.
