Constable Suspended Over Comments on Kavitha

A police constable has been suspended for allegedly making objectionable comments about Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) party president Kavitha on social media. K. Anil, a 2018 batch police constable, is currently serving at the Hyderabad CAR Headquarters on Order to Serve from the Cyberabad CAR. The alleged remarks targeting Kavitha recently came to the attention of senior officials.

Commissioner Ramesh Reddy expressed displeasure over the incident and issued orders suspending Anil. He said every police employee must maintain discipline, professional conduct and respectful behaviour. He also advised police personnel to exercise responsibility and restraint while using social media.
